Learn how to self-publish with an Amazon best-selling author
A Monbulk writer who recently shot to number 1 on Amazon’s best-seller list, will share some of the secrets of his success in a self-publishing workshop for the Dandenong Ranges Literary Festival in July.
Aaron Lamb’s fifth and latest book Cults, Coffee and Close Encounters, outsold George Orwell and Margaret Atwood for 24 hours on Amazon earlier this year, launching him into rare and elite company.

An author of five books, he has spent 20 years learning and refining how to use self-publishing tools to maximise sales of his sci-fi dark/comedy novels.
In his workshop So You Want to Self-Publish, Aaron will discuss key points including:
- The new publishing landscape
- Getting your book ready
- KDP and why it matters
- Other publishing platforms and,
- The Australian context.
The workshop will be held on Saturday, July 25 at the Belgrave Community Hub, 9:30am-12:30pm.
The event is part of the second annual Dandenong Ranges Literary Festival, which will this year be held over three days from October 9-11 in Belgrave.
Tickets are limited and will sell quickly.
